This is another request from DeviantArt, the task was to draw the character Maxine Gibson of "Batman Beyond" with the Packers #12 Aaron  Rodgers jersey. Those who are close to me know that I am a big fan of the DCAU, and Bruce Timm's work, and Max was one of my favorite characters. I am ashamed of myself for completely forgetting about her, and if it wasn't for this request, I probably wouldn't have given her any thought at all. The white road uniform, and the BCA version (uploaded a few days ago) will be exclusive to this page, while the regular green version will be posted on DA sometime soon.

Here are a couple of things that I would have liked to have finished in October, it didn't quite work out that way.

Character Shirley Fenette of "Code Geass" wearing the Saints' #9 Drew Brees jersey, a request from DeviantArt. Shirley has been wery good to me, I've drawn her twice now, and both times she's come out very well.

Character Maxine Gibson of "Batman Beyond" wearing the Packers' #12 Aaron Rodgers jersey, another request from DeviantArt. I don't think this was too bad for a first effort with her.

Character Tia Halibel of "Bleach" with another appearance with the 49ers' #52 Patrick Willis jersey. I could have done better with a pose here.

The pink outlines and patches are for breast Cancer Awareness month in October, (which was why I wanted to finish these by then).

It's All About the U

This is another request from DeviantArt, the task was to draw the character Koume Sawaguchi with the U of Miami jersey. I had no idea who this was, and had trouble even remembering her name, but I am pleased with how this one came out. I'll probably be loading the orange one to my DA page, while the others will be only seen here.

Undead Celebrities

Ghettomanga is taking submissions for celebrities who have passed away to come back as a zombie, vampire, etc. I wanted to participate, so I came up with this, a zombie Aaliyah. I made a bloodier version of this one which actually makes this look better.

Well, let's hope this makes the cut.

Sometimes I'll do some of these requests and wonder how the alternate color will look. I've decided to try out a few of these on a batch of my latest requests and I like how they looked. I will have these posted exclusively on this page, as well as the requested version.

This was another request I received on DeviantArt, The task this time is to draw this character, Rukia Kuchiki of "Bleach" with the #77 Jets home jersey. Being a fan of this team, I was very eager to get to this one. This character is known for her terrible drawings, and it was...different to try to do bad art on purpose as opposed to trying to be good, but it was fun at the same time.

This was a request I received on DeviantArt for these characters, Neliel and Halibel of "Bleach" in Oakland Raiders jerseys, he changed his mind when I offered to do one of his characters instead. I wanted to try these characters anyway, so I went ahead and did so.

Hero Time?

There are times where you get an idea in your head, and that idea takes a life of its own. This was the result of a drawing challenge I took part in. The theme was "superheroes."

The Story:

It all started as a normal crime fighting outing for team Saiyaman, protecting some unknown substance invented by one of the top scientists of the world from a gang of thieves with super powered weapons. They managed to fight off the thieves, however the battle would leave Videl gravely injured, and Gohan blaming himself for what happened to her. In the meantime, the unknown substance made its way over to Videl attempting to fix her injuries ended up being fused together with her. Later that day Saiyaman still on his guilt trip announced his retirement from crime fighting saying, “If I cannot protect my partner, I am not fit to protect this city.”


A week later those same decided to come after the heroes, they’d come after Videl first and finish the job, but to their surprise they’d find a tall blond head woman wearing Videl’s clothes waiting for them. After defeating the thieves, and dropping them off at the Police station, she’d find Gohan and reveal her miraculous recovery, new look and new powers. After a few training sessions for her to get better acquainted with her powers, she’d convince Gohan to return to crime fighting as “Captain Gold,” and after finding an old Halloween costume, she decided to become Supergirl.


I did have a good time with this one, and even though I’m not much of a writer, I did enjoy doing the story to introduce this one. I’m still disappointed that in the end I had to find a city and use that as the background instead of making my own, but things like that happen when I don’t organize my time properly.

...But not Forgotten

It’s now 10 years to the day we lost her, and I still can’t believe she’s gone.

People that know me well know that she was my favorite singer, I’ve got all her albums, a number of posters, a few calendars, pictures , wallpapers and screen savers.


For the past couple of years, I wanted to try doing caricatures of celebrities, and a few random people. After a couple of failures, I decided that to put that idea on hold until I got better at it. Earlier this year I completed a request, a caricature of singer Hayley Williams for someone on DeviantArt which I was very pleased with, and as a result I decided that I had to give this another try.

It's been too long I've done regular updates, I'll need to get back into that habit again.

Here's another request from somebody on DeviantArt. The character is Rangiku Matsumoto of "Bleach" with Bruce Smith's #78 Bills jersey. The guy is a Bills fan who went through another bad season, I am glad he got something out of this.

A Year's Progress

There are times I feel that I don't get any better at drawing, then things like this come along. This was a project that I actually started on last year, but it never got completed. This was a project that I would have liked to see completed more than anything, so I started over again,  doing things as I do now, and noticed the difference.

I have to say, I'm very pleased with the results on the left as compared to the one on the right. Maybe theres something to this drawing thing afterall.

Getting back to this project of mine, here's another request from DeviantArt, the girls from "Totally Spies," Sam, Alex, and Clover with Carolina Panthers gear. There weren't any other specific details, so I filled in the rest of the details myself.

From Another World

What if characters from one world met characters from another world? Who knows what happens, but it's always fun to imagine things like that. Here, I decided to have one of those scenarios on paper. The story here is as follows:

A typical day in Satan City takes a sudden twist as a couple of bank robberies on opposite sides of town catch our heroes by surprise. Eventually we find Sayiaman bound to a tree by Poison Ivy, looking to make his first kiss(?) his last, while Harley Quinn makes faces to everyone. On the other side of town, Sayiagirl has her hands full with Killer Frost, who has frozen both of her hands together, and Giganta looking to take her out from behind. How will they get out of this mess?

Old Work

I can't believe I did this one five years ago. It took quite a while for this to come together, but I'm very happy with how it came out. This is still one of my favorites, and the first, and only battle scene that I've done so far.

The characters are Tenten and Hinata of "Naruto" in the midst of a battle.

This is another request from a friend on DeviantArt. The task this time is to draw this character, Mikuru Asahina of "The Melancoly of Haruhi Suzumiya" with Michael Vick's #7 Eagles jersey. I've done a few requests for this guy before, and he's come up with a few ideas that I had fun with.

This is another request I did for someone on DeviantArt. The task was to draw the characters Aoi Sakuraba and Tina Foster of "Ai Yori Aioshi" with New York Giants uniforms. He requested one wear Eli Manning's #10, and the other wearing #9.

 

I'm not much of a photographer, but I managed to take these pictures of some guys doing motorcycle stunts on the way home from work yesterday.

Speedstreet takes place annually in Charlotte the last weekend in May.

I normally update on Fridays, but with the technical difficulties going around, I could not. Here's that update today.

This was done as a request from someone on my DeviantArt page. The task was to draw the characters Shimei Ryomou and Uncho Kan'u of Ikki Tousen with the Oakland Raiders uniforms. The numbers 32, and 43 were worn by Raider greats Jack Tatum, and George Atkinson were used was also part of the request. I've got a friend of mine that would like this one as well.

I'm Back? NFL Jerseys 31

It's been way to long since I had anything to write, I hate being so inconsistant.

I did manage to get some drawings in, and here's one of them.

A request I did for someone on DeviantArt. The task was to draw the character Videl of "DragonBall Z" with a Cleveland Browns uniform. I happened to go with Peyton Hillis's #40. Amazingly enough, Hillis will be on the cover of Madden '12.

Have you ever seen this?

I've had rants about parking before, but usually it's about people that park their cars in two or even three spaces. This is something I've never seen before...I can't imagine who parks their car like this.

Better Late than Never

I completely forgot to put this one in during Halloween, either that or I neglected this page for a while, so I'll throw it in now.

This was a Halloween drawing from 2007. The characters of "DragonBall Z" are dressed as the characters of "InuYasha." There were some parts of this one that I wasn't all that thrilled with, but overall it didn't come out too bad. This one took that whole month of October to finish, but I'm glad it was finished on time.
